Elefun Centre at Bush Lodge
The centre is custom designed by childcare experts to offer an optimal environment for your children. They'll have a fabulous time in these safe and creative surroundings. Each day will be filled with age-appropriate activities that are themed around nature.
Qualified staff and hand-picked rangers will supervise this fun edutainment. The
centre has a spacious outdoor area where your kids can run around and also play on the equipment. There are formal sessions in the morning and afternoon, but the centre is available for in between times too. There are 2 programmes with interactive activities for different age groups.
Junior Tracker (4 - 8 years)
Mid-morning is set aside for bush exploration. A ranger takes the children on a
stroll into the bush near the lodge where they will discover lots of fascinating things about the birds, bugs, animals and plants in the reserve.
After the walk, the Junior Trackers return to the centre where the teacher takes them through a
delightful session of arts and crafts suitable for both boys and girls. There may be some messy fun but lots of creativity too.
After lunch it is game time - indoors or out your kids will have a blast engaging in treasure hunts, memory games and some brand new adventures that they won't have tried before.
Junior Ranger (9 - 12 years)
The morning bush ramble is more advanced in this group and will depend on the weather. On clear days, the kids will set off with a ranger and learn some bush skills such as
map reading, animal tracking and identifying birds. On wet days the ranger will set up fascinating displays indoors and still incorporate bush activities.
After the morning session with the ranger, the Junior Rangers can engage in some interesting and more complex crafts than the younger group, before it is time for lunch. In the afternoon, the kids will be introduced to
team games and scavenger hunts in the bush or at the centre, there are also board games and stone games to try.
